At Baku we pride ourselves in our expert knowledge when it comes to the handling, care and transport of Pharmaceutical products on behalf of our customers.

We are one of only 30 companies in Ireland that hold a GDP Passport and our customers can be assured of quality in the distribution of their Pharmaceutical and medical device products through the supply chain distribution. All personnel involved in the supply chain are highly trained through standardised and certified training. All Pharmaceutical loads are run strictly in accordance with GDP protocol.

All our Fridges are fitted with alarms which are linked back to designated members of our staff in the office. They receive an alert message if an alarm sounds which is responded to immediately 24 / 7 – 365.

Alarms will sound for the following reasons:

  • Unscheduled door opening
  • Fridge turned off
  • Deviation from the set temperature.

With safety in mind, all trucks are fitted with 4 security cameras, panic buttons in the case of an emergency, which are linked directly to a designated person in our office.  Our Drivers have a list of secure areas where they park while in the UK or Europe.  These areas are well lit, secure and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Each year, we successfully complete various statutory, ISO, internal and external audits. This means that our services meet all quality requirements and regulations in the field of safety, security, staff training levels, cleanliness, availability and strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
